The Tajwid Al-Qur'an Workshop for Takmir Committees, Muslimah and Mosque Congregations aimed to improve understanding of the rules of tajwid. Jointly organised by the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Imarah Division in collaboration with the Kampung Keriam Mosque Takmir Committee, Tutong District and Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office, the workshop was officiated at the said Mosque, 13th June morning.

On hand to officiate was Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. 170 participants joined the workshop. The workshop included an informative session on tajwid and a practical session. The workshop gave participants the opportunity to practice recitation directly through training sessions, thus fostering a spirit of brotherhood among the participants.
